Q: would the "sun of may" be considered a star in this survey?

Also, 6 point stars aren't a thing apparently

The Cherokee Nation uses seven point stars, but I am not seeing them here either.

Australia's Federation Star has 7 points and I can make it out on this image. Can't speak for the Cherokee Nation, but I'd assume it didn't count as a national flag in this survey.

Very disappointed with the lack of green clovers, pink hearts, yellow moons, and purple horseshoes on national flags these days.
