Even in early access, Tavern Keeper already feels like the fantasy pub sim of my dreams

"Despite over a decade in development, take caution that Tavern Keeper is still an early access game." lol
Jeez, how does a sim game like this take over a decade in dev?
Feature creep + seeking perfection + profitability of the project + passion.
I've sunk a good deal of hours into it last year and honestly it was already pretty complete. I don't know what they've added recently but it seems the game has been mature for some time now
There's always Inn Keeper, which just got out of Early Access.
Is every game just a Synty low poly asset flip theses days? Somebody needs to start using something different soon, cos everything's starting to look the same. It's just so obvious too! One of the clips on that Steam page is literally a bunch of them just rotating in T pose 🤣
I also dislike the use of Synty packs (I am surprised they haven't added more variations), but I don't think Tavern Keeper uses Synty.
Props for clearly labeling the cinematic trailer and saying that it's different from gameplay footage
I played Game Dev Tycoon (2013) from the same people and it was really good, I'm definitely going to try this one out
Made by the developers of Game Dev Tycoon, which I loved
I prefer Mad Games Tycoon, but Game Dev Tycoon was good too (played it before discovering MGT).
I like it so far except the floating arms are kind of distracting
This looks to be one of those "games for decades" that you come back to years later.
Tried the demo last year. Even though it was bare-bones, you could see the potential of the game.
Yes, i liked the demo as well.
Looks cool!
