Shutdown may force US to close some air space next week, official sees 'mass chaos'

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned Tuesday that if the federal government shutdown continues another week it could lead to "mass chaos" and could force him to close some of the national airspace to air traffic, a drastic move that could upend American aviation.

You know, don't take away our pittance of healthcare Republicans.

Yeah, this feels like a burgler complaining of injuries sustained while stealing and after passing multiple warning signs.

With consumer electronics and easy to use open source software, a quadcopter (or better a glider for maximum distance and capacity, but some additional complexity) can be programmed to travel several miles anonymously (gps hardware, etc) and land within a meter easily.

Many of these could have a payload of around 5-10lbs and cost just a few hundred dollars to build.

That payload could be any sort of thing you want—like an assortment of chemicals designed to have a party when mixed, or… activated.
