Just like the author of the video, when I first played HoMM2 (early 97), I always wanted to build my own cities and have more control over the economic elements (I first played Civilization in the early 2000s, shortly after the release of Civ III).
Not sure if this is cursed or amazing. Now we need Civ2 total conversion for HoM&M2.

Lands of Lore... A certified Westwood Classic. With a neat tie to Command and Conquer.

I really need to look into getting Civ 2 running. Maybe just set up an old VM for it. Civ 3 was probably my favorite, but there were a lot of concepts I didn’t understand until playing 3 and I’d be curious to see how I fare in 2 now. Plus I love that old aesthetic of games with a user interface like every other program on Windows.
